Autumn is slowly wrapping up, and along with the fallen leaves and ripened crops, I’m in the midst of my seasonal transition into hibernation mode. Bring on the comfy vibes, cozy reads, hot chocolate, and fleece blankets. Add in a lit candle or two and I’m set to tackle the winter ahead.

This time of year always reminds us of what we’re thankful for. For me, it’s getting the opportunity to work from home, sealed away from the frigid temps outdoors, my dogs sleeping soundly at my feet, and a warm cup of Joe stimulating my thoughts while I live my dream of being an author. It’s my passion, my therapy, and such a big part of my soul.

When I started my author business almost a decade ago, I really hadn’t a clue how to go about it, and learned so many interesting tips along the way. Which got me to thinking… I need a refresh! During this past year’s rapid progression, my mind has been preoccupied not only with writing, but how to go about breathing new life into my author brand. And I think I’ve got it! Now I’d like to share with you, my faithful blog readers, the exciting changes coming in 2026! You’re hearing it here, first… a sneak peek into what I have planned! It’ll be a process. Nothing that’ll manifest overnight, but a gradual progression as I usher three new books into the literary world.

Here’s a teaser of the exciting changes I have planned:

  1. New branding and logo – expect rebranding across my social media sites, on my website, and a new logo to represent my author business.
  2. My own imprint – I will be leaving Tellwell Talent and collecting all of my Indie titles under one imprint. And I’m super excited to announce I’ll be doing a reboot of my Father of Contention series under my imprint, which will include new cover designs and story content.
  3. I have several books in the making! A dark fantasy duology, titled Goldenhair, is scheduled to release next year, along with an anthology of my collected works, short stories, and poems.
  4. A celebration of these changes will include book launches, giveaways, promotional sales, and Kindle Unlimited access to my titles for the first time ever!

Phew! With all that I have planned, I better get to work and fall back into fantasy mode in editing my Goldenhair manuscripts. Evil witches, magical creatures, doomed lovers, and diabolical curses, here I come!

Hope the rest of your autumn is cozy, relaxing, and filled with thanksgiving and joy! And don’t forget to keep reading!
