April 26, 2023 – Hoods of Motherhood by Lindsay Soberano Wilson

THIS HOT NEW RELEASE IS ALREADY AVAILABLE!
Prolific Pulse Press LLC announces the publication of their latest book: Hoods of Motherhood by Lindsay Soberano Wilson.
Book Blurb:
How do we reconcile the outdated notions of being a selfless matriarch with a modern-day understanding that being a mom is about learning to give back to yourself in order to give to others?
How do we learn to accept what it is we wish to hold from our matriarchs and yet also release to become empowered mothers with our own wants, needs, and values?
In Hoods of Motherhood: A Collection of Poems, Lindsay Soberano Wilson, a first-generation Jewish Canadian granddaughter of Romanian Holocaust survivors and Spanish Moroccan immigrants, compiles a bittersweet portrayal of becoming a mother.
From the highs and lows of recurrent miscarriages to contending with c-section shame, to larger issues such as intergenerational trauma, and everyday issues like breastfeeding, Soberano Wilson’s first full book of poetry, is relatable, lyrical, and confessional with evocative imagery, allusions, wordplay, rhyme, and rhythm.
About the Author:
Soberano-Wilson graduated from Concordia University’s Creative Writing program and went on to earn a Master of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of Toronto. She is a member of the Canadian League of Poets. Her poetry has been published in FreshVoices, The Embrace of Dawn, PoetryPause, Quills Erotic Canadian Poetry Magazine, Canadian Woman Studies Journal, Poetica Magazine, and various anthologies, and online literary magazines and blogs.
Her debut chapbook, Casa de mi Corazón: A Travel Journal of Poetry and Memoir (Poetica Publishing), is a hybrid journal of poetry and memoir about how her sense of community, identity, and home was shaped by her past travels.
She has demonstrated that her brazen, yet gentle voice, speaks to an audience as reflected by her growing following across social media platforms, such as Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and Medium.

May 2, 2023 – When Death is Coming by Jen Woodrum

Blurb:
The “4” tattooed on the back of Corrie’s neck means she’ll die before she turns twenty.
The knowledge of death dates has become available to the world. Now, those with early death dates—the Threes and Fours—are forced to put their short lives to use in a labor camp called the Prime so the long-lived can thrive.
While Corrie tries to focus on using her leadership role to secretly create change in the Prime, her friend’s suspicious death makes her wonder how set in stone fate really is. In a search for the truth, Corrie finds the source of the death dates. She discovers that she has a family outside of the Prime…
…and her own death is even closer than she thought.
Facing rising questions about the world, her family, and her future, Corrie knows the answers lie outside of the Prime’s concrete walls. And if she can uncover them, then life must have a greater purpose—but can she find it before death arrives?

June 20, 2023 – Daughter of Neverwoode (Book Three of the Chronicles of Fayble Series) by Britt Cooper and Erin Dulin

Blurb:
What would ordinarily be the end is only the beginning as the Chronicles of Fayble series continues with a fresh retelling of two classic fairytales. Peter Pan meets Snow White, blending the mysterious world of Neverland with the wanton deceptions of a queen who will do anything to hold onto her beauty and her tenuous grasp on her people.
After an unusually long slumber, Petra awakens at the edge of the forest, outside of the enchanted walls of the shrouded kingdom, kept hidden through the use of fine golden dust known as sift. But her fortunes collide with the enigmatic Captain Hook, leading her on a quest for freedom with an unexpected ally in tow.
The pair make for an unlikely duo as they hamper Queen Wendolyne’s influence over the realm, destroying the fallacy of contentment and bringing the kingdom to its knees. Still, the queen refuses to go quietly into the night, sending a huntsman in pursuit of her father’s greatest indiscretion alongside the recovery of a valued family heirloom with which Petra refuses to part.
A run-in with the seven lost miners in the midst of their travels leads Captain Hook and Petra toward an unsettling discovery that will forever change the ways of Neverwoode and their standing within the world of Fayble. Faith. Trust. Pixie dust. Following the second star to the right takes them to the truth existing only at time’s end, where folklore and fantasy meet reality.
Why be lost to illusion, when your purpose awaits at time’s end?
About the Authors:
Sisters and co-authors of the Chronicles of Fayble series, Britt Cooper and Erin Dulin are thrilled to be living their dreams. Writing is a shared passion that each of them balance alongside husbands, children, and life’s never-ending chaos. With seven books to their names, some will never see the light of day. Still, they’ve found their niche and the excitement of channeling their creativity into new and fresh works never seems to get old.
